I have been lucky enough to have a very successful career, mainly in a beauty training background.
I was away for work about 3 years ago in Australia, and my son was staying with my mum. He was poorly for the whole time I was away. I felt serious 'mum guilt' and a bit helpless being on the other side of the world for 2 weeks!
It was at that point I started to think about how I could do what I love and combine it with beauty full-time from home.
There were the obvious worries of 'will I make what I am making now' but that worry was very short-lived! I now do what I love and I can be there for whatever my children need and there is no better job in the world!
I have become busy enough to have my garage converted into my dream salon!
It’s been finished recently and I could hardly wait to get it opened!
I would love to carry on how I am - my family is happy, my clients are happy .... and so am I!
I do have plans to bring new treatments out and keep learning!
No matter how qualified you are you can always learn more!
